  • Curascopium is presented as an audio program accompanied by live narration in English.

Smart glasses providing real-time captions for deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors will be available for demonstration (one device available per session).

Inclusive Planetarium Exhibition

Based on responses to a survey on inclusive planetarium practices conducted through the mailing list of the Japanese Planetarium Association (JPA), we will introduce initiatives from six planetariums across Japan. These examples include both institutions already implementing inclusive programs and those preparing to do so.

In addition, visitors can experience tactile planetary models that encourage exploration through touch.

TANABATA for Peace

Reflecting on the current situation in the world and in Japan, and inspired by the IPS theme “One Earth, One Sky,” this exhibit introduces the Japanese cultural tradition of Tanabata while inviting participants from around the world to write their hopes and wishes for our shared Earth and sky on colorful wish strips (tanzaku).

Through this simple act, we hope to create a space where people from different countries and backgrounds can connect through a common hope for peace.
